Undergraduate Courses in Mine Reclamation

WARM has supported graduate level courses in mine reclamation the last two years.

There is also an undergraduate course titled ENVS 315 Mined Land Rehabilitation that has been taught for some years by Steve Renner at Colorado Mesa University. For more information about this class, please contact us. Colorado Mesa University welcomes external students to take this class.

Western Colorado University will also host a mined landed reclamation class for undergraduates for the 2023-2024 school year. For more information please contact us.

Student Grant/Fellowship Opportunities

Thanks to the support of Freeport McMoran and BHP, WARM is now in a position to offer grants to both graduate and undergraduate students at the our partner institutions, Colorado Mesa University, Colorado School of Mines, Fort Lewis College, Colorado State University, and Western Colorado University. The graduate and undergraduate grant opportunities are structured somewhat differently and are available to students interested in pursuing careers in mine reclamation.

For more information about these student grants, deadlines, and how to apply for them, please visit Fellowship Opportunities page.
